Tale of Oyasama, Volume Two
The Foundress of Tenrikyo, Miki Nakayama, whom we call Oyasama, our beloved Parent, spent Her life working for the salvation of all people in the world.
The Tale of Oyasama is an English translation of Gekiga Oyasama monogatari, which presents a manga-style depiction of the ninety years of Her life based on historical facts. The second volume covers the period from 1864 up to 1877.
After twenty some years of poverty, Oyasama finally finds some followers begin to emerge. Subsequently, the Residence gradually becomes filled with joy as the followers, who visit there in increasing numbers, eventually undertake the construction of the Place for the Service in high spirits.
